Basic first aid tips for some of the most common mishaps, accidents, and injuries.
Triathletes are the first to assist other triathletes in the event of an accident, which is often during a bike ride on the roads. If you are out on your bike regularly, it really is a good idea to have basic first aid knowledge for yourself and your fellow triathletes.
This virtual event is hosted by the Tri Club with guest speaker Dr. Laura Kistler-Hummel, Emergency Physician, USACS South, based in Tampa, FL. Dr. Hummel is a former collegiate athlete and sister to Club member, Courtney Kistler.
