    Meet and Greet

Mentors and Mentees come connect, plan and talk about your season. Learn about the program here:  http://aatriclub.org/Mentorship-Program

    Calling All With Experience

Do you have triathlon experience under your belt?  How about just running, biking, or swimming experience?  Perhaps you're a great cheerleader for others?

We are looking for some people willing to share their various experience or knowledge with others in the club.  The amount you wish to contribute is entirely up to you!  You can choose from any or all of these:

    - a mentor to a club member

    - a training partner and mentor to a club member

    - a designated person at club workouts who people feel comfortable asking questions related to that discipline or triathlon in general

    - a real go-getter mentor to multiple club members (usually as simple as email/text correspondence)

    - a hybrid of these as you choose

Feel free to contact Adrian Forbes (adrian@forbesoft.com) of the Mentorship Program or fill out the program survey here:

Thursday Evening Bricks - Thursdays June Through August

See below for sponsor and guest schedule.

Brick workouts are a key component to every triathletes training schedule, and to no surprise the Thursday evening bricks are the staple workout of the club. We’ll meet every week, unless it’s raining, in which case, you can ride at your own risk. Here’s the info:

When:  Thursday evenings at 6:15pm (See Below)
Location: Forsythe School (See Maps Below)
Distance: Bike route: 20 mile road, 12.7 mile dirt road option, & there are 3 run routes available.

The Thursday Evening Brick workouts are structured to cater to varying abilities within the triathlon club. A phased start is used for the Brick workouts. This phased start is designed to allow the newer riders to have a head start, and ride at their own pace. The most experienced riders will be in Group 5. This also allows the group to finish the bike ride around the same time, so that folks can begin the run together. Here's how it works:

    • Group 1: Bike start at 6:15pm (<14 mph NO DROP)
    • Group 2: Bike start at 6:18PM (16 mph and under average pace)
    • Group 3: Bike start at 6:21PM (19 mph and under average pace)
    • Group 4: Bike start at 6:25PM (19 - 21 mph average pace)
    • Group 5: Bike start at 6:30PM (21 + mph average pace)

Workout nutrition provided by Infinit Nutrtion.

Muffins are available for a quick recovery snack provided by Afternoon Delight.
