    After the Track Workouts - join the club at Grizzly Peak for social hour.

    During the Winter Months, we meet at Grizzly Peak after Tuesday Track Workouts. In the Summer Months we meet after the Thursday Brick Workouts.

    It is tradition to wear your race medals from the previous weekend.

    We are hosting a casual training day.  This event is a nice way to practice all three disciplines.  Everyone coming can have different goals, it's your workout!  The idea is to provide a group workout to train swimming, biking, running and transitions.  

    Details:

    Spring Mill Pond - Turn right once in the park and follow the signs

    Set up - (7:30 AM)  We will have a transition rack available.  Set up as though it's race day. Michael Parker and Ralf Mielke will be there to provide tips and answer your questions. 

    Swim - ( 8 to 9)  Swim 20 mins or the entire hour.  Practice your T1 as many times as you like.  No Lifeguard.  Please bring your safe swimmer if you have one.  http://saferswimmer.com/

    Bike - (9 to 10) We cycle on the main 6 mile road within the park. Go back and forth until you are done.  Then practice your T2.  Note: Cars will be using the road. Please use caution.

    Run  - (10-11) We will use part of the blue trail to run an out and back route.  Michael and Ralf will provide direction. 

    Chill at 11 (Club will supply Infinit and snacks)

    ***This training day is a free event thanks to our Sponsor, Parker Performance and our friends at Island Lake Park and Recreation Area.  

    Island Lake is seeking donations towards a road debris blower to keep their 6 mile road clear for cyclists.  We will gladly collect funds Saturday to donate or you can click here: http://islandlakefriends.org/
